Coogee Dive Trail

Client: Western Australian Government

The Coogee Maritime Trail Project was to establish an underwater dive trail along the southern breakwater at Port Coogee as part of the Living Coastlines Initiative.

The underwater dive trail encompasses WA’s premier shore-based shipwreck, the Omeo.  Structures were installed along the marine trail to create habitat for aquatic life.

Subcon scope

Subcon fabricated and installed 35 engineered reef modules.  The project Port Coogee Maritime Dive Trail which was made up of the existing Omeo Shipwreck now continues through 250 metres of artificial reefs.

The reefs are comprised of six modules, Reef Pyramid ™, Reef Matt ™, Apollo Clusters™, Abitat ™ which creates a complex marine habitat.
